The Colorado Plastic Surgery Center is one of the top medical centers of its kind in the Denver Metro Area. They wanted to add dual-purpose integrated technology to their surgical center that would serve as both an imaging/documentation system and as an entertainment system.
A comfortable, caring environment
One of the top priorities was to created an environment that would be both upscale and comfortable for patients. The waiting area is designed with rich colors and subtle, relaxing sensations – hidden premium sound speakers play light music as serene imagery is displayed on the integrated HDTVs.
The TVs in the exam and surgical rooms, combined with a high-end digital capture system, provides a very practical way for the physician to quickly capture and review images of patients, then transmit those images directly to the patients' files on the office server. When the capture system isn't in use, the entertainment system plays on the screens.
Customized for Patients: A Blu-Ray system with hidden speakers simulates a comfortable fireside in the lobby.
Dual Purpose Technology: The screens in the exam rooms & surgical suite serve dual purposes, providing both entertainment and hi-rez medical imaging.
